Policy Declaration

  1. All devotees booking online must report at the temple counter with a printed ticket and a valid photo ID.
  2. Special Darshan ticket is valid for one person only. A maximum of two persons are allowed for Pooja, Aarti, or Abhishek services. Additional persons can participate by paying extra charges.
  3. There is no specific dress code for Darshan or Pooja. Devotees may wear simple and modest clothes.
  4. Touching the Shivling is strictly prohibited. Please do not argue regarding this and follow the prescribed method for Darshan, water offering, and flower offering.
  5. Only Darshan and water offering are allowed inside the sanctum sanctorum (Garbhagriha). Other rituals are not permitted there.
  6. Please show your ticket only to authorized personnel. Do not hand it over to any priest or unauthorized person.
  7. Timings for Darshan and Pooja are available on the temple website and mobile app. Please plan accordingly.
  8. The ticket booked for Quick Darshan is valid only in the respective time slot. Darshan is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis. Special Darshan is available only until 8:00 PM.
  9. Children under 12 years of age are allowed free Special Darshan only with parents but are not allowed alone.
  10. Abhishek is performed by the temple priests at designated places as per the temple trust’s arrangements. Only water offering is allowed inside the sanctum.
  11. Some Pooja packages include complimentary Special Darshan passes. However, this is subject to administrative discretion and may be canceled without prior notice. No refund is applicable for such passes.
  12. Mahamrityunjaya Jaap is conducted only at Mahakaleshwar premises. If you are unable to attend, the Prasad will be sent to your address.
  13. In the Naivedya Bhog service, devotees cannot offer the Bhog themselves. Fruits and curd-rice are offered daily by priests. Prasad is sent in absentia. Special Darshan is not included.
  14. In the Shringar service, the temple staff performs the decoration. Prasad is provided, but Special Darshan is not included.
  15. For Narmada Aarti, please report at the counter before 6:00 PM. The Aarti is held at Koti Tirth Ghat and families can participate. Special Darshan is not included.
  16. If you book the Monday Procession (Somwar Sawari), report at the temple counter by 3:00 PM. It includes a city tour and Prasad. Special Darshan is not included.
  17. Donations should be made only through the temple’s official website, app, counter, or donation box. Do not give donations to unauthorized persons.
  18. Annakshetra Donation tickets cannot be used for meals at the Prasadalaya. This service is reserved for the hungry and saints.
  19. For any issues related to online booking or payments, please contact the temple helpline. We will fully assist in resolving your issue.
  20. Prasad tickets are valid from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In case of delay, inform the counter.
  21. The temple protocol is determined by Khandwa administration. Please follow it strictly.
  22. Accommodation facility by the temple is available only at Shri Ji Vishramalaya.
  23. If you have booked the Shayan Shringar donation, please contact the helpline to discuss design and color preferences. Booking must be done at least 15 days in advance.
  24. Online booked services can be rescheduled once only. The desired date must be available for rescheduling.
  25. Darshan may be temporarily suspended due to VIP visits or security reasons.
  26. During Shivratri, Shravan month, fairs, and festivals, standard rules may not apply. Please check the website for updates.
  27. For complaints, suggestions, or changes to bookings, please use the feedback section on the website.
  28. For donating food items, ornaments, or utensils, contact the counter and obtain a receipt.
  29. In Navagraha Pooja, please consult your astrologer to determine which Pooja is required for you, and book accordingly.
  30. Narmada Aarti and Narmada Poojan are conducted at Koti Tirth Ghat. These do not include Garbhagriha Darshan.
  31. In Partheshwar Poojan, a clay Shivling is worshipped. This Pooja is conducted within the Mahakaleshwar temple premises.

Terms & Conditions for E-Aradhana Booking

  1. Join the E-Aradhana at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. If you do not attend, the pooja will be considered cancelled and no refund or reschedule will be given.
  2. All bookings are non-refundable. A one-time postponement is allowed only if requested at least 24 hours before the pooja time.
  3. Please provide complete and correct postal address at the time of booking. Address changes will not be accepted after booking.
  4. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and Google Meet is installed and tested in advance. We are not responsible for any technical issues at your end.
  5. The pooja will be completed in about 45 minutes. Prasad will be sent to your registered address with tracking details.
